  • Principles of movement and alignment

  • Principles of sequencing

  • Foundations of pranayama

  • Different styles of yoga: a primer (Yin, Chair, Restorative)

  • Foundations of meditation

Teaching Methodology

  • Principles of reflective student-centered teaching

  • Authentic teaching: finding your own voice as a teachers

  • Designing a conducive environment for teaching

  • Modifying practice: Communication and practice for special conditions: pregnancy, menstruation, injuries, large body, high blood pressure, aging.

  • Why touch? Principles of assisting and adjustments

  • Safety and ethics in teaching

  • How to be a successful yoga teacher

Anatomy and Physiology

  • Taking Classes - 15 Classes 

Final Written Exam & Class

  • Written exam to access what you learned

  • Design and teach a one-hour class
